Unable to find the profile of a babysitter or nanny that matches your requirements? Consider posting using the Post a Job Ad community service on Babysitterdirectory.

Job Ads on Babysitterdirectory are live for up to 28 days. You can expire them at any time. You also have the ability to edit copy for your job as many times as you like during the 28 day period and you are also given management tools to help manage responses. Job Ads can will be reviewed and published during standard business hours (AEST). Allow up to two business days.

But remember....

1. NO PERSONAL CONTACT DETAILS IN ADVERTS: For your safety and security we ask you not to put your contact details i.e. phone number, email address or address in the job advert. If a babysitter or nanny is interested in applying for your vacancy they can click "apply now" on the job advert and using the personal messaging system on the website email you. You can then decide if you wish to share your personal contact details. Parents that include their contact details with their job adverts will be requested to remove these contact details before the job is posted to Babysitterdirectory.

2.NO ABUSE OF JOB BOARD : Please note that this Post a Job facility is a service designed for parents looking for a babysitter or nanny for their own personal use.  This means the Post a Job service cannot be used for:

- promotion of business services. If you would like to promote your business services to our members, please view our advertisers page here.

- posting jobs which are not genuine babysitting or nanny jobs. This includes work-from-home employment etc. Any such Job Ads will be deleted and offenders face being banned from future use of Babysitterdirectory.

1. Postcode search is a radius search. If you choose you can search 5km for example from your entered postcode. This may mean that if you live near a Peninsula profiles could return in search results  that are 5km, 10km in radius from your selected postcode but a longer distance by car or public transport.
2. Anonymity: Please note your first name will be used to identify you when you send a personal message to another user (babysitter or parent).
3. South Australia: Due to legislative reasons (Children Services Act 1985) at the moment we are unable to operate in South Australia. We apologise for the inconvenience.
4. Expect to email 5-8 carers and from this to get 1-2 carers to respond. In an ideal world every carer you email would respond to your email.  However this may not happen. Why? The carer may have got another job and are not searching for work now. The carer may not check their email frequently or they may read your email and forget to respond as they no longer are searching for work. 
5.Short notice carers = SMS Alerts. If you want the carer to respond to you instantly then consider purchasing SMS alerts. Include your phone number in the text to the carer.
